Note To Self....

Welcome New Blog Followers! It's the Weekend! I hope each of you had a great week.  The last couple of weeks for me provided full, high speed with work travel and personal business projects. I was able to host my very first Vision Board Gathering, "Girls And Goals" for some young girls at one of our local Boys and Girls Clubs! I am so excited for some exciting things on the horizon for SRD and my new book, SMILE: Success Starts With You!Hopefully, you had an opportunity to listen to my short video yesterday on Motivation and Success. If not, head over to my YouTube Channel as all my videos are posted there. If you are following me on social media, it is posted there as well. Over the last few days, I've been faced with the word FOCUS continuously on my brain. As women, we juggle many responsibilities inside and outside the home, family time, work projects, personal projects, personal time, etc and have to remain encouraged for our personal growth.  There are personal achievements and goals we have for ourselves and sometimes it can be hard to manage and balance. So, I decided to break down the word FOCUS:F - Finish It. Whatever dream or goal you have for 2016, finish it. Carve out some time during the day to meditate, write and focus.O - Opportunities. Embrace opportunities that will allow you to gain understanding, experience or network in the area you are focused on.C - Celebrate. Celebrate the milestones along the way. Small steps are just as important as big steps.U - Understand. What are you trying to achieve? Search out sites or links that focus on what you are trying to accomplish.S - Stay Determined. Stay Hungry for what you are trying to achieve. Get advice from trusted individuals. Link up with a mentor to help you stay on track.Encourage yourself and do not give up. Stop being afraid, held back by fear. If you stay committed, you will break down the barriers and overcome the obstackles. FOCUS!Happy Valentine's Day!!Always SMILE...Sherill
