What Season Are You In?
Thank You to my recent Blog Followers!Throughout life, you will endure seasons of change. I don't mean the seasons of Winter, Spring, Summer and Fall, but seasons of hardships, disappointments, good times, bad times, life and death. Just like the seasons change with the weather; seasons of our lives come and go. They are filled with life changing moments. I've endured seasons of life, where I felt nothing was working. Praying, but still dealing with pain, three family members death in a nine month period, hard times and good times. After many questions to God, feeling frustrated, disappointed, dreams and goals delayed; my seasons were a test of my faith. Faith to endure when darkness was everywhere. All of these seasons became necessary for my growth. Necessary for life lessons, new opportunities, a test with a testimony. Timing is everything. Your timing is not God's timing. I wanted to launch my business many years ago, but that wasn't in God's plan. I endured the journey and when he saw fit for it to happen, he did in his timing. As I looked back, I wasn't prepared as I thought I was. Since my launch, God has opened doors and brought people just at the right time. Timing for me to see that your dreams are not a delay. It is part of the process. With the seasons of change; expect to grow, lose a few friends, be talked about, hated, liked and ignored, but it is all part of the process. Don't change who you are to fit in with the crowd. God will set you apart when it is time for his business to be done. He has a mission and a vision for you to carry out. We all were born with a purpose and a vision. There will be new beginnings and heartfelt endings. Let GO and Let God.Here are a couple of suggestions to handle the season you are in:
- Embrace Your Season. It is essential that you embrace the season you are in. It is necessary for your future. Whether it is challenging or wonderful, there is a lesson to be learned. There is a "message" in the "meantime" of life. Embrace it and learn from it, enjoy it and praise it. Every season is ordained by God. For everything, there is a reason and a season. A season of ball games, childhood, adulthood and parenthood.
- Endure Your Season. Don't Give Up. Get a vision of life while embracing your season. Endurance is the key. It's is courage being deposited over and over again. Hard times and good times cause each of us to endure the process. The most meaningful season in our lives can not be given a day or time stamp. Seasons of plenty and seasons of despair. God will give you direction for your life.
