Inside Inspiration
Hello, Smiling Faces!Happy Wednesday! I hope you are doing well during these challenging times. I don’t think any of us could have predicted we would be here four months into 2020. Here we are and we must do our part in practicing Social Distancing...more like Physical Distancing. So how are things going for you? I’ve been taking each day as it comes. This is truly a time for us to connect on a different level during this crisis. Easter will be different this year, but not in our hearts. Many churches are offering online services and incorporating an Easter theme. I am limiting my intake of news overload for sure. Although, everywhere you turn there is something daily to avoid. Staying inside is the best option, but if you have to leave your home take the necessary precautions. How are you managing while practicing Social Distancing? Most states have mandated orders to remain inside. Make sure during this time you guard your heart, mind and soul. It’s easy to find yourself stressed and under pressure. Many external outlets and favorite restaurants are closed. Socializing with family and friends at events are paused. The gyms are closed, but I am not letting my exercise regimen take a backseat. I am running outside a few days a week, incorporating home weights and managed to find an upbeat fitness regimen (daily) that is LIVE on Instagram - and boy it’s a good one! Here are a few inspirational tips below. Try incorporating these to alleviate added stress and tension during these challenging times.1. Pray.2. Board games with family.3. Take a leisure walk outside. No large gatherings.4. Listen to music - dance!5. Journal.6. Listen to your favorite podcast.7. Write down three things daily you are grateful for.8. Read a book.9. Try a new recipe.10. Try something new.Reach out to close family and friends that you don’t speak with often. We are in this together. My prayers and thoughts are with you.Always SMILE...Sherill
