Happy November

Hello, Smiling Faces!Happy November! Did I just say that?! It’s hard to believe that we are almost at the end of the year. Well... hold on a second! It’s MY BIRTHDAY MONTH! Yes, November 15th is a special day! Where are my SCORPIOSsssss?!For many, the month of November fills us with gratitude and the beginning of the holiday season. A perfect time to reflect as we begin to focus on the upcoming year, but don’t move so fast; take some time to reflect on those things you are most grateful for. What have you accomplished thus far? What opportunity or risk did you take? Truth be told, you still have time to make a huge investment in yourself.As I reflect, I made the commitment to begin Life Leadership at my local church. It’s a year long leadership program. Man, oh man, what an investment! Two months in and I am so overwhelmed by the goodness of God, in so many areas of my life. I am learning so much about myself  (the good and the not so good). But, let’s be honest we are not perfect. I am being stretched in my purpose and checking myself at the same time. This is by far, the best investment in myself this year!  It is so humbling building a strong, sprirtual, leadership foundation in so many areas of my life. I am learning and growing on a daily basis - shaping my perspective, priorities, purpose and passion while building strong relationships and serving others.I appreciate you, my readers, for following and reading my blog. As we embrace this month, preparing to spend the Thanksgiving holiday with family and friends, always remember you don’t need a special day to make memories, extend love or grace.  Make every day a day of being thankful and grateful.Always SMILE...Sherill
