Happy February! Where did January go? Clearly, it moved in and moved out. February is here and I am excited to dedicate this month to LOVE…Self-Love. Yes, loving yourself and making YOU a priority! With February signifying Valentine’s Day; chocolate, teddy bears, red hearts, and balloons are everywhere. For the month of February, I am going to give you four ideas (once a week) on how you can incorporate self-love in treating and pampering yourself. These ideas are perfect any day or month, throughout the year. Consider these a few of my favorite things!
So, here is the first idea. One that I truly love to purchase, and that is flowers…of all kinds and colors! Don’t wait to be gifted a bouquet of flowers…brighten your OWN day! Flowers will enhance your living space around you, make you feel energized, and so much more. This beautiful bouquet came from Kroger, labeled the “Crazy Daisy” – hopefully, because of the array of bright, vibrant colors which captured my attention! This truly speaks to my personality and attitude. Now, this bouquet is cheaper than your midday lunch! (smile) I often try to purchase flowers for myself a couple times a month. Throughout my home or work office, it gives you that extra boost of pretty things. Did you know that flowers are proven to change your mood? Flowers are linked to alleviate stress, depression, and anxiety. Ohhh…what about the sensual aroma?!
Since we are talking flowers, my favorite flower is the Tiger Lily and of course, orange is my favorite color! It doesn’t matter if you love roses, orchids, or tulips. Treat yourself. There are so many colors, and flowers to choose from at a reasonable price. Go ahead and make your day!
